Not quite sure how my experience was so different to the multiple other reviews but it has taken me two years to not be too angry to be able to write a civil review.
I cannot put into words how mentally damaging my last appointment was. The doctor would only say that my being 'obese' (a word he used repeatedly) was the cause of every symptom I asked about. He said, "I will not take the time to explain the physiological difference between difficulty breathing and clear lungs" and stated that the appointment time had been used up with the first issue I asked about.
I came to get guidance on what steps to take to get into a better state of health. I came away in tears, without any clarity on the questions I had, and extremely wary of putting myself in that vulnerable position again.

Dr. Skardasis has been my physician for numerous years, first at North GA Internal Medicine, and now at Optimal Performance. Moving to a different medical organization to continue seeing the same Physician speaks volumes to my testimony of his competency as an internist, his thoroughness, and compassionate care for his patients. His staff Marcie, Tomee, and Jack are very friendly and professional. This makes the office visit overall very pleasant!
